One of the members of the Cosmac ELF on-line discussion group, Lee Hart, came up with this design in May of 2008 to resurrect the Forth programming language that he designed back in the early ‘80s. You can see the complete history of the Membership Card on Herb Johnson’s Retro-Technology Web site.
When Lee Hart announced that he was selling the latest revision of his Membership Card computer, I jumped at the chance to have one. Building the little beastie has been fun – not without its challenges, but fun all the same.
